- Right front bumper pedestrian protection sensor (B151/3) (with code (U60) Pedestrian protection)
- Driver belt buckle restraint system switch (S68/3)
- Front passenger belt buckle restraint system switch (S68/4)
Chassis CAN (up to 31.5.13)
The weight sensing system (WSS) control unit (N110) sends the status of the seat occupied recognition via interior CAN (CAN B), front SAM control unit with fuse and relay module (N10/1) and chassis CAN to the supplemental restraint system control unit.
The functions that use these signals are described in the individual function descriptions (see block diagram or function schematic).
Seat occupancy LIN (as of 1.6.13)
The signals of the following components are read in by the supplemental restraint system control unit via seat occupancy LIN:
- Weight Sensing System (WSS) control unit (with code (U10) Front passenger seat with weight sensing)
- Front passenger seat occupied recognition and ACSR (with code (U18) Automatic child seat recognition (ACSR))
Evaluation of input factors
The input factors that have been read in are evaluated by the integrated microprocessor and the relevant components are then actuated.
Actuation of components
The actuation of the components takes place via the following connections:
- Direct line
- Chassis CAN (up to 31.5.13) or chassis CAN 1 (as of 1.6.13)
Direct line
The following components are actuated via direct lines:
- Pyrofuse 150 (F32f150) (without code (B03) ECO start/stop function)
