TPMS Reset Procedures: Notes

NOTE: Whenever tire pressure has been adjusted, or when wheels or tires have been replaced, the TPM system must be activated.

If the multifunction display shows a warning message, immediately check air pressure of all tires and adjust to the specified pressure. Activate TPMS. Drive vehicle for 10 minutes to ensure warning indicators turn off.

NOTE: Tire pressure should only be adjusted on cold tires. Observe the recommended tire inflation pressure on the placard on the driver's door "B" pillar (some models may have supplemental inflation information on the fuel filler flap).
