	Remove/install
1	Switch off ignition and remove transmitter key from electronic ignition lock control unit
2	Remove Mercedes star		AR88.40-P-4050NKB
3	Unlock and detach electrical connector on DISTRONIC electric controller unit (A89)
4	Pull DISTRONIC electric controller unit (A89) out of bracket	The DISTRONIC electric controller unit (A89) is engaged with three ball studs in the bracket.
5	Install in the reverse order
6	Perform adjustment of the DISTRONIC electric controller unit (A89) using Star Diagnosis

		Adjustment of the DISTRONIC electric controller unit (A89) is necessary after: replace detach/attach mechanical damage accident repair in front area alteration of the camber, track width, caster or of the vehicle level at the front or rear axle
