Remove/install injection system control unit - AR07.08-P-7008ELS

REMOVINGINSTALLING Remove/install     
1 Read out variant coding of the ME-SFI [ME] control unit (N3/10) with diagnostic system When replacing ME-SFI [ME] control unit (N3/10)  
REFER TO SELF-DIAGNOSTIC SYSTEMS     AD00.00-P-2000-04A
    IMPORTANT Connect up diagnostic system and read data from ME-SFI [ME] control unit (N3/10) in diagnostic system.
INSTALLATION IMPORTANT Transfer stored data to new ME-SFI [ME] control unit (N3/10).
 
2 Switch off ignition and remove transmitter key    
3 Remove engine cover    
4 Disconnect Electrical connections (1, 2) on ME-SFI [ME] control unit (N3/10)    
5 Unclip ME-SFI [ME] control unit (N3/10) upwards and take it off INSTALLATION IMPORTANT Ensure correct seating of the ME-SFI [ME] control unit (N3/10).  
6 Install in the reverse order    
DANGER Risk of accident  from vehicle starting off by itself when engine running. Risk of injury  (bruises and burns) resulting from working on the engine while it is being started or when it is running. Secure vehicle to prevent it from starting off by itself. Wear closed and snug-fitting work clothes. Do not touch hot or rotating parts. AS00.00-Z-0005-01A
7 Carry out an engine test run
