Remove/Install Fuel Differential Pressure Sensor - AR07.04-P-0025OLC

WARNING Risk of burn injuries  , suffocation and poisoning when working on the exhaust system and the components connected to it. Risk of suffocation and risk of poisoning caused by inhalation of gaseous and solid components of the exhaust. Risk of poisoning caused by skin contact with solid components of the exhaust. Wear protective clothing and safety glasses. Use the extraction system. Move people out of the hazard area. AS49.00-Z-0001-01A
CAUTION Risk of injury  caused by scraping or cutting body parts on sharp vehicle parts Always wear protective gloves when working on or near sharp and non-deburred vehicle parts.
Deburr repair panels.

REMOVINGINSTALLING Remove/install     
1 Remove upper engine cover. INSTALLATION IMPORTANT Only install upper engine cover after the leak test. AR01.10-P-2405OLC
2 Remove crash plate (7).    
3 Release and disconnect electrical connection (3).    
4 Remove heat shield (8).    
5 Open quick clamps (5) and remove molded hoses (4) from pressure lines. NOTES Release only the quick clamps (5) of the molded hoses (4).
Releasing the clamps on the DPF differential pressure sensor (B28/8) can cause hairline cracks to form on the DPF differential pressure sensor (B28/8) thus leading to malfunctions.
INSTALLATION IMPORTANT Install molded hoses (4) free of tension.
INSTALLATION IMPORTANT Replace click clamps (5).
 
    SPECIAL TOOL Pliers for click clamps Fig 2
6 Unscrew nuts (6) and remove bracket (2). When installing new DPF differential pressure sensor (B28/8).  
    TORQUE SPECIFICATION Nut, differential pressure sensor for diesel particulate filter to bracket *BA07.04-P-1007-02A 
7 Install in the reverse order.    
8 Read out and delete fault memory.

WARNING Risk of accident  from vehicle starting off by itself when engine running. Risk of injury (bruises and burns) resulting from working on the engine while it is being started or when it is running. Secure vehicle to prevent it from starting off by itself. Wear closed and snug-fitting work clothes. Do not touch hot or rotating parts. AS00.00-Z-0005-01A
9 Carry out engine test run and check engine for proper operation and leak tightness.    
10 Install upper engine cover.
