Location
The DC/AC converter control unit is located at the right in the trunk behind the trim.
Task
The DC/AC converter control unit converts the DC voltage of the on-board electrical system into AC voltage. Small electrical devices that require an AC voltage (e.g. video game consoles, chargers) can be connected to the socket. The maximum available continuous electrical load is 150 W, also briefly permissible for 2 s is a load up to 300 W. The DC/AC converter control unit supplies the microswitch in the socket with voltage. If a consumer is connected to the socket, voltage is switched through to the control input of the DC/AC converter control unit. The DC/AC converter control unit then switches the AC voltage through to the socket.
