General 

The overhead control panel control unit reads in the operation signals for the interior lighting, the sliding sunroof and the emergency call. On vehicles with interior protection, the overhead control panel control unit also monitors the vehicle interior and detects modifications in vehicle inclination. For protection against misuse of the garage door opener, a security code is stored in the overhead control panel control unit.

Location 

The overhead control panel control unit is located in the front section of the headliner.
