with CODE 501 (360° camera)
Shown on model 292
Location
The 360° camera control unit is located under the driver seat.
Tasks
- Reading in of signals
- Evaluation of input factors
- Transmission of initial parameters
- Output of signals
Reading in of signals
The input factors are read in via the following connections:
- LVDS (Low voltage differential signal)
- Chassis CAN 2 (CAN E2)
Low voltage differential signal
The signals from each of the following components are read in via a separate LVDS line:
- Left side 360° camera (B84/7)
- Right side 360° camera (B84/8)
- Camera, front 360° camera (B84/9)
- Camera, rear 360° camera (B84/10)
Chassis CAN 2
The signals for activating the 360° cameras and for calculating the representation on the Audio/COMAND display (A40/8) are read in by the 360° camera control unit via chassis CAN 2.
Evaluation of input factors
The input factors that have been read in are evaluated by the integrated microprocessor and the relevant components are then actuated.
Transmission of initial parameters
The initial parameters are sent by the 360° camera control unit via chassis CAN 2.
Output of signals
The 360° camera control unit sends the image data via an analog video interface to the COMAND controller unit (A40/3).
