1	Read out variant coding of the ME-SFI [ME] control unit (N3/10) with diagnostic system	When replacing ME-SFI [ME] control unit (N3/10)
		Connect up diagnostic system and read data from ME-SFI [ME] control unit (N3/10) into Star Diagnosis. Transfer stored data to new ME-SFI [ME] control unit (N3/10).	AD00.00-P-2000-04A
2	Switch off ignition
3	Remove front engine cover (1)
4	Disconnect Electrical connections (4, 5) on ME-SFI control unit (N3/10)
5	Pull out ME-SFI [ME] control unit (N3/10) and mount (2) from bracket (3)
6	Remove screw/bolts (7) and detach ME-SFI [ME] control unit (N3/10) from the mount (2)	When replacing ME-SFI [ME] control unit (N3/10) Bolt, control unit to retaining plate	*BA07.08-P-1003-01A

8	Detach engine wiring harness (8) on bracket (3)
9	Detach electrical connection (9) on bracket (3) and place to one side
10	Detach connector housing bracket on bracket (3)	Bolt, connector housing holder to control unit holder	*BA07.08-P-1006-01A
11	Unfasten bracket (3) with shield (10)	Bolt, control unit holder to cylinder head/cylinder head cover	*BA07.08-P-1004-01A
12	Remove oxygen sensor on the left upstream of catalytic converter		AR07.52-P-5303GQ
13	Remove bracket (3) with shield (10) upwards
14	Detach bracket (3) on shield (10)	Bolt, shield over left exhaust manifold to control unit holder	*BA07.08-P-1005-01A
15	Install in the reverse order
16	Perform encoder adaptation using the diagnostic system	When replacing ME-SFI [ME] control unit (N3/10)
