Remove/Install Pressure Line From High-Pressure Pump/Fuel Distributor - Ar07.03-D-7000WE

- Risk of explosion  caused by fuel igniting.
Risk of injury  to skin and eyes caused by fuel spraying out at high pressure
Keep all ignition sources out of hazard area. Do not carry out any work on system when it is pressurized. AS07.16-Z-0001-01A 
- Risk of explosion  caused by fuel igniting, risk of poisoning caused by inhaling and swallowing fuel as well as risk of injury to eyes and skin caused by contact with fuel. No fires, sparks, open flames or smoking. Pour fuels into suitable and appropriately marked containers only. Wear protective clothing when handling fuel. AS47.00-Z-0001-01A

1 Remove charge air distributor - AR09.41-D-8681WE
2 Unfasten engine wiring harness cable duct (10) - AR01.00-D-2411-01WE
3 Remove screws (2) - -
4 Remove screw/bolt (6) and push bracket (7) with fuel line (8) to one side Engine 651 in model 900

5 Unclip retaining clip (5) of the electrical line (4) on the high-pressure line (1) Engine 651 in model 900

6 Unscrew and remove high-pressure line (1) from the high-pressure pump (M41/3) and rail (9) NOTES
After disassembly of high-pressure line (1), close off the connection fitting on rail (9) and the connection fitting (3) at high-pressure pump (M41/3) and ensure the greatest cleanliness.
The high pressure components will be damaged otherwise.
IMPORTANT Stop plugs are available as a replacement part of the diesel injection system, see EPC Group 07.
Repeated usage of stop plugs is not allowed. Counterhold high-pressure line (1) to avoid it from coming loose as the connection fitting (3) is being loosened.
INSTALLATION IMPORTANT Install high-pressure line (1) free of tension.

7 Install in the reverse order - -
WARNING Risk of accident  from vehicle starting off by itself when engine running. Risk of injury  (bruises and burns) resulting from working on the engine while it is being started or when it is running. Secure vehicle to prevent it from starting off by itself. Wear closed and snug-fitting work clothes. Do not touch hot or rotating parts. AS00.00-Z-0005-01A
8 Perform an engine test run and check engine for leaks in the area of the high-pressure line (1) for leaktightness - -
