-	Risk of death  caused by vehicle slipping or toppling off of the lifting platform.	Align vehicle between vehicle lift columns and position the four support plates at the vehicle lift support points specified by the vehicle manufacturer.	AS00.00-Z-0010-01A

	Risk of burn injuries  , suffocation and poisoning when working on the exhaust system and the components connected to it. Risk of suffocation and risk of poisoning caused by inhalation of gaseous and solid components of the exhaust. Risk of poisoning  caused by skin contact with solid components of the exhaust. 	Remove/install
1	Raise vehicle	-	AR00.60-D-1000H
2	Disconnect electrical connection (3)
3	Remove electrical wiring harness of soot particulate sensor (B163) from retaining clamp (4)	Check retaining clamp (4).	- ]
-	-	Depending on findings ↓ Replace retaining clamp (4).	-
4	Remove electronic control unit (1)	To do this, unscrew nuts (2).	-
5	Remove soot particulate sensor (B163) with control unit (1)	The soot particulate sensor (B163) and the control unit (1) form a single unit. Apply heat-resistant lubricating paste to thread of soot particulate sensor (B163).	-

6	Clean thread and sealing surfaces of soot particulate sensor (B163) on SCR catalytic converter	-	-
7	Install in the reverse order
8	Read out fault memory with diagnostic system	When replacing the soot particulate sensor (B163).	-

-	-	If faults are present ↓ Erase fault memory.	-
	Risk of accident  from vehicle starting off by itself when engine running. Risk of injury  (bruises and burns) resulting from working on the engine while it is being started or when it is running.	Secure vehicle to prevent it from starting off by itself. Wear closed and snug-fitting work clothes. Do not touch hot or rotating parts.	AS00.00-Z-0005-01A
9	Check leaktightness of exhaust system when engine is running	Visual inspection only.	-
