-	Risk of explosion  caused by fuel Igniting. Risk of injury  to skin and eyes caused by fuel spraying out at high pressure	Keep all ignition sources out of hazard area. Do not carry out any work on system when it is pressurized.	AS07.16-Z-0001-01A
-	Risk of explosion  caused by fuel igniting, risk of poisoning caused by inhaling and swallowing fuel as well as risk of injury to eyes and skin caused by contact with fuel.	No fires, sparks, open flames or smoking. Pour fuels into suitable and appropriately marked containers only. Wear protective clothing when handling fuel.	AS47.00-Z-0001-01A

1	Remove charge air manifold	-	AR09.41-D-8681WE
2	Remove screws (6) and place holder (5) to one side	Screw/bolt, bracket to mounting plate	*BA09.41-N-1017-01M
3	Unscrew screws (4) and remove mounting plate (7)	Screw/bolt, charge air pipe mounting plate to engine support	*BA09.41-N-1012-01M
4	Disconnect electrical connector (1) at quantity control valve (Y94/3)	-	-
5	Remove screws (2)	Bolt, quantity control valve to high-pressure pump housing flange	*BA07.16-N-1012-01A
6	Remove quantity control valve (Y94/3)	Manually remove quantity control valve (Y94/3) via rotational movements from housing flange of high-pressure pump (M41/3), do not twist in this connection. Housing flange can otherwise be damaged. Use rags to catch escaping fuel. Replace quantity control valve (Y94/3) and lightly grease sealing rings (3) with special grease.	-

	Clean	-	-
7	Clean flange bore and sealing surface of housing flange of high-pressure pump (M41/3)	Remove paint and/or dirt particles at flange bore. A flawless function can otherwise not be ensured.	-
8	Install in the reverse order	-	-
9	Connect Star Diagnosis and perform initialization of quantity control valve (Y94/3)	-	-
	-	-	AD00.00-D-2000-04SD
	Risk of accident  from vehicle starting off by itself when engine running. Risk of injury  (bruises and burns) resulting from working on the engine while it is being started or when it is running.	Secure vehicle to prevent it from starting off by itself. Wear closed and snug-fitting work clothes. Do not touch hot or rotating parts.	AS00.00-Z-0005-01A
10	Perform engine test run and check engine in area of quantity control valve (Y94/3) for leaks	-	-
