Location
The fuel pump is integrated in the fuel tank.
Task
The fuel pump provides a sufficient quantity of fuel to the high-pressure pump (M41/3) and at the required pressure.
Design
2-stage flow pump integrated in fuel feed module.
Function
The fuel pump is actuated over the fuel pump relay (K40/9k3) (for model 906) from CDI control unit (N3/28).
The fuel pump draws the fuel from the fuel feed module through a fuel strainer. The fuel pump then pumps the suctioned fuel through the fuel filter to the high-pressure pump.
