| 1 | Detach ground line of on-board electrical system battery | AR54.10-P-0003LF | |
| 2 | Open engine hood and move to vertical position | AR88.40-P-1000LCA | |
| 3 | Loosen front pre-fuse box from holder and place to one side with lines still connected | AR54.15-P-1330LF | |
| 4 | Remove bolts (7) | *BA54.15-P-1007-01J | |
| 5 | Open cap (3) and disconnect electrical connector underneath it | ||
| 6 | Disconnect electric line (4) from fuse box of engine compartment 48 V on-board electrical system (153/2) | *BA54.15-P-1008-01J | |
| 7 | Fold holder (2) forward (arrow A) until electrical connectors (5, 6) at windshield heater control unit (N61) are accessible | ||
| 8 | Disconnect electrical connectors (5, 6) from windshield heater control unit (N61) | ||
| 9 | Unclip windshield heater control unit (N61) at holder (2) | ||
| 10 | Install in the reverse order |
