	Remove/install
1	Read out variant coding of the ME-SFI [ME] control unit (N3/10) with diagnostic system	When replacing the ME-SFI [ME] control unit (N3/10).
			AD00.00-P-2000-04B
		Connect up diagnostic system and read data from ME-SFI [ME] control unit (N3/10) in diagnostic system.
		: Transfer stored data to new ME-SFI [ME] control unit (N3/10).
2	Switch off ignition
3	Remove upper engine cover
4	Disconnect electrical lines (1, 2) at ME-SFI [ME] control unit (N3/10)
5	Unclip ME-SFI [ME] control unit (N3/10) upwards and take it off	: Ensure correct seating of the ME-SFI [ME] control unit (N3/10).
6	Install in the reverse order
7	Install in the reverse order
