Media Oriented System Transport (MOST)
The Rear Seat Entertainment system controller unit is a MOST subscriber. The Rear Seat Entertainment system controller unit receives control communication with the left rear display (A40/5) and the right rear display (A40/6) and, depending on requirement, audio, video and Internet signals, from the head unit as the gateway to the telematics CAN (CAN A).
Processing signals
The audio and picture signals form the available media sources are processed, and, where necessary converted, and prepared for output.

- Seat adjustments (comfort functions, equipment-specific) for seats in rear (gateway to user interface CAN (CAN HMI))
Structure
The Rear Seat Entertainment system controller unit is equipped with 2 integrated Kleer® radio interfaces as well as an integrated Blu-ray drive.
The Blu-ray drive is a single-slot drive. In addition to Blu-ray video, DVD video and audio media, it can also play CD audio media and MP3 files. Media with currently common copy protection mechanisms as well as recorded Blu-ray, DVD and CD blanks can also be played. The Blu-ray drive has the "Disc Auto Detect" function.
