Remove/Install Electronic Ignition/Starter Switch (EZS) Lock Control Unit - AR46.10-P-0810LF

Model 222 

up to Model year 2018

REMOVINGINSTALLING Remove/install     
1 Connect vehicle diagnosis system and perform commissioning of electronic ignition lock control unit (N73) When replacing the electronic ignition lock control unit (N73).  
REFER TO SELF-DIAGNOSTIC SYSTEMS     AD00.00-P-2000-04B
2 Switch off ignition and store transmitter key outside of transmission range (min. 2 m)    
3 Remove trim piece (1) from instrument panel   AR68.10-P-1180LF
4 Release and disconnect electrical connection (2) from electronic ignition lock control unit (N73)    
5 Release electronic ignition lock control unit (N73) and press out in the direction of engine compartment IMPORTANTRemoval:  To do so, simultaneously push release lugs (3) together in the direction of the arrows.  
6 Laterally rotate electronic ignition lock control unit (N73) by 90° and take out    
7 Install in the reverse order
