| 1 | Release and disconnect electrical connector (2). | ||
| 2 | Remove screw/bolts (3). | *BA28.10-P-1010-01G | |
| 3 | Remove all-wheel drive control unit (N45) downwards. | The catch hooks of the all-wheel drive control unit (N45) must engage in the grooves in the transfer case (4). Damage will otherwise occur. |

| 4 | Install in the reverse order. | ||
| 5 | Commission all-wheel drive control unit (N45). | When replacing the all-wheel drive control unit (N45). | |
