The attachment procedure must take place at an ambient temperature between 15 and 30 °C. It must be ensured that all affected component parts comply with these temperatures. Otherwise adhesion problems can occur at the adhesively bonded connections.
Do not use any additional workshop equipment such as adhesives, adhesive films or similar.
Otherwise malfunctions can occur and people can be put at risk.
The bonding surfaces of the upper section of the heat mat (1) must not come into contact with foreign substances before or during the attachment procedure.

- Detach films (2) on upper section of heat mat (1) and fold down (areas A and B).
- Detach foil (3) on upper section of heat mat (1).

The complete adhesive strength is only produced by pressing the bonding surfaces.
- Position upper section of heat mat (1) on seat backrest padding (4).
The correct positioning of the upper section of the heat mat (1) at the edges (areas C) must be ensured. Otherwise, this negatively affects durability and reliability.
To do so, align outer edges of bonding surfaces (areas A and B) to edges (areas C).

or this, detach films (2) in stages from upper section of heat mat (1) and press upper section of heal mat (1) on seat backrest padding (4) (areas C and D).
- Attach upper section of heat mat (1) to seat backrest padding (4).
Press on upper section of heat mat (1) without any creases.
Otherwise damage occurs to the upper section of the heat mat (1).
The correct positioning of the upper section of the heat mat (1) at the edges (areas C and D) must be ensured.
Otherwise, this negatively affects durability and reliability.
- Press fabric tabs (5) into cutout (6).
The upper section of the heat mat (1) must not come into contact with electrically conductive seat components such as upholstery staples or the seat frame.
There is a short circuit risk and fire hazard.
To do so, use
long wedge.

The bonding surfaces of the lower section of the heat mat (1) must not come into contact with foreign substances before or during the attachment procedure.
Otherwise damage occurs to the lower section of the heat mat (1).
There must be no tension on the electrical wiring harness.
Otherwise damage occurs to the lower section of the heat mat (1).
- Detach films (7) on lower section of heat mat (1) and fold down (areas E and F).

- Position lower section of heat mat (1) on seat backrest padding (4).
The correct positioning of the lower section of the heat mat (1) at the edges (areas G) must be ensured. Otherwise, this negatively affects durability and reliability.
To do so, align outer edges of bonding surfaces (areas E and F) to edges (areas G).
- Attach lower section of heat mat (1) to seat backrest
Press on lower section of heat mat (1) without any creases.
Otherwise damage occurs to the lower section of the heat mat (1).
The correct positioning of the lower section of the heat mat (1) at the edges (areas G) must be ensured. Otherwise, this negatively affects durability and reliability.
For this, detach films (7) in stages from lower section of heat mat (1) and press lower section of heat mat (1) on seat backrest padding (4) (areas G).
