The attachment procedure must take place at an ambient temperature between 15 and 30 °C. It must be ensured that all affected component parts comply with these temperatures. Otherwise adhesion problems can occur at the adhesively bonded connections.
Do not use any additional workshop equipment such as adhesives, adhesive films or similar.
Otherwise malfunctions can occur and people can be put at risk.
The complete adhesive strength is only produced by pressing the bonding surfaces.
The bonding surface of the upper section of the heat mat (1) must not come into contact with foreign substances before or during the attachment procedure.
Otherwise damage occurs to the upper section of the heat mat (1).
- Detach foil (2) on upper section of heat mat (1).
- Position upper section of heat mat (1) on seat backrest padding (3).
The correct positioning of the upper section of the heat mat (1) at the edges (areas A) must be ensured. Otherwise, this negatively affects durability and reliability.
To do so, align outer edges of exposed bonding surface to edges (area A).
- Attach upper section of heat mat (1) to seat backrest padding (3).
Press on upper section of heat mat (1) without any creases.
Otherwise damage occurs to the upper section of the heat mat (1).
