When performing repair work 

• Before carrying out any welding work, remove ignition key, disconnect or insulate ground line of battery and detach connector from restraint system control unit.
• No particular safety precautions are necessary before carrying out painting work with subsequent force drying. The windowbag units can withstand temperatures of up to 100 °C without sustaining any damage.
• Do not allow windowbag units to come into contact with grease, oil or cleaning agents. Otherwise, windowbags may not be installed in a vehicle under any circumstances.

When retrofitting: Note tensioning straps for windowbag 

The functionality of the windowbag may not be impaired by aftermarket installations, e.g. by wrapping, removing or changing the tensioning straps of the windowbag.

Safety note 

The windowbag may not be opened, removed or installed in another vehicle. There is a risk of malfunctions and injuries.
