	Remove/install
1	Switch off ignition and store transmitter key outside of transmission range (min. 2 m).
2	Detach ground line of on-board electrical system battery.	Model 907 with code SH1 (Driver thorax/pelvis side airbag)	AR54.10-D-0029TS
3	Disconnect ground line of auxiliary battery.	Model 907 with code E2I (Auxiliary battery for retrofit consumers, interior compartment) and code SH1 (Driver thorax/pelvis side airbag)	AR54.10-D-0004TS
		Model 907 with code E2M (Auxiliary battery for retrofit consumers, engine compartment) and code SH1 (Driver thorax/pelvis side airbag) except code E2I (Auxiliary battery for retrofit consumers, interior compartment)	AR54.10-D-0004TSR
4	Release electrical connector (1) and disconnect.
5	Remove electrical connector (2) from electrical connector (3).	To do so, release catch hooks (4) and pull electrical connector (2) towards the rear.
6	Remove retaining clips (5) from seat frame base.	: Check retaining clips (5) for any damage. Clip remover If the retaining clips (5) are damaged, ↓ Replace retaining clips (5).	Fig 1
7	Remove seat cushion padding with seat occupancy recognition (6).	Model 907 except code H16 (Seat heating for driver)	AR91.10-D-5040TS
		Model 907 with code H16 (Seat heating for driver) Remove seat cushion cover from seat cushion padding. Model 907 with code H16 (Seat heating for driver) Installation  : Use new heat mat.	AR91.10-D-5040TSH
8	Detach seat occupancy recognition (6) from seat cushion padding.	Clip: Remove/install driver's seat occupancy recognition : Ensure correct installation position of seat occupancy recognition (6). Otherwise malfunctions will occur. To do this, remove seat occupancy recognition (6) with electronics (11) from holes (8), catches (9) and cutout (10). Model 907 with code H16 (Seat heating for driver) Removal  : Dispose of heat mat with seat cushion padding. : Insert seat occupancy recognition (6) into holes (8) with "TOP" markings on tabs (7) upwards and then insert into catches (9) and cutout (10). Then place electronics (11) in cutout (12). Model 907 with code H16 (Seat heating for driver) Installation  : Use new seat cushion padding.	GB91.60-D-0000-03A
9	Install in the reverse order.
