| 1 | Turn steering wheel (2) to center position. | ||
| 2 | Detach ground line of on-board electrical system battery. | AR54.10-D-0029TS | |

| 4 | Insert a Torx screwdriver T20 (6) into the access openings (3) and release the driver's airbag (1) by pushing the retaining clamps (4) one after another left and right. | Clip: Remove driver's airbag from steering wheel |

| 5 | Remove driver's airbag (1) from steering wheel (2) until the electrical connector (5) is accessible. | ||
| 6 | Release and disconnect electrical connector (5) then remove driver's airbag (1). | ||
| 7 | Install in the reverse order. | ||
