	Remove
1	Release and disconnect electrical connector of side airbag.	Do not remove the electrical wiring harness when doing so.	AR91.10-D-1020TSA
2	Mark position of seat cushion padding (1) relative to seat cushion frame (2).	To do so, make markings in areas (A, B).
3	Remove bolts (3, 4).	Screws (3, 4) have different lengths.
4	Release and disconnect electrical connector (5) from electrical connector (6). 4	To do so, release catch hooks (7).
5	Remove feed-through grommet (8) from seat backrest frame (9).
6	Remove electrical wiring harness (10) fron!/I seat backrest frame (9).	To do so, unclip retaining clip (11). Clip remover	Fig 1
7	Fold seat cushion padding (1) downward.	To do so, actuate the seat cushion padding release (1).
8	Remove seat cushion padding (1) with electrical wiring harness (10).	To do so, guide electrical wiring harness (10) through seat backrest frame (9). The seat occupancy recognition and seat cushion padding (1) are a single unit. Disassembling of this unit is not permitted.
	Install
9	Transfer markings made in areas (A, B) from old seat cushion padding (1) to new seat cushion padding (1).	If seat cushion padding (1) has been replaced.
10	Place seat cushion padding (1) with electrical wiring harness (10) on seat cushion frame (2).	To do so, guide electrical wiring harness (10) through seat backrest frame (9).
11	Fold seat cushion padding (1) upward.	To do so, actuate the seat cushion [padding release (1).
12	Attach electrical wiring harness (10) to seat backrest frame (9).	To do so, clip in retaining clip (11). Check retaining clip (11) for damage. Clip remover If retaining clip (11) is damaged, replace retaining clip (11).	Fig 1
13	Attach feed-through grommet (8) to seat backrest frame (9).
14	Connect electrical connector (5) to electrical connector (6).	Until catch hooks (7) engage audibly.
15	Align seat cushion padding (1) with seat cushion frame (2).	Ensure that the seat cushion padding (1) is correctly aligned on the seat cushion frame (2). Otherwise the seat cushion padding (1) will be damaged. To do so, observe marks made in areas (A, B),
16	Screw in screws (3, 4).	Note length of screws (3, 4). Otherwise the seat cushion padding (1) will be damaged.
17	Connect electrical connector of side airbag.		AR91.10-D-1020TSA
