	Remove/install
1	Remove seat backrest shell for front seat.		AR91.10-D-1916TS
2	Switch off ignition and store transmitter key outside of transmission range (min. 2 m).
3	Detach ground line of on-board electrical system battery.	Before conducting any maintenance operations, switch off ignition, disconnect battery negative pole then wait for at least 3 minutes.	AR54.10-D-0029TS
4	Detach ground line from additional battery. 5	Partially remove seat backrest cover (1) from seat backrest frame (2).	: Check for correct installation position of seat backrest cover (1).
6	Detach seat backrest padding (5) in left lower area from seat backrest frame (2).	Carefully detach seat backrest padding (5) from seat backrest frame (2). Otherwise, the seat backrest padding (5) will be damaged. : Check for correct installation position of seat backrest padding (5).
7	Release and disconnect electrical connector (3) using a suitable tool.
8	Remove nuts (7). Notes on self-locking nuts and bolts		AH00.00-N-0001-01A
		Nut sidebag to backrest frame	*BA91.60-D-1006-01TS
9	Remove side airbag (4).	Carefully detach seat backrest padding (5) from seat backrest frame (2). Otherwise, the seat backrest padding (5) will be damaged. To do so, detach seat backrest padding (5) from seat backrest frame (2) (arrows). Finally, remove side airbag (4) from seat backrest frame (2) and remove fabric tab (6) of seat backrest cover (1) from side airbag (4).
10	Install in the reverse order.
