Remove/Install All-Wheel Drive Control Unit - AR27.19-P-1720MFA

Transmission 724.1 in model 118, 177, 247

REMOVINGINSTALLING Remove/install     
1 Switch off ignition and store transmitter key outside of transmitter range (min. 2 m).    
2 Remove left and right side trunk lining. Transmission 724.1 in model 247.6 with code M005 (Vehicles with 4MATIC/all-wheel drive) AR68.30-P-4801MFX

3 Remove speaker amplifier control unit. Transmission 724.1 in model 118, 177, 247.0/7 as of model year 2022 with code 810 (Premium sound system) with code M005 (Vehicles with 4MATIC/all-wheel drive) except code 853 ("Midline" sound system) AR82.62-P-7720MFD

4 Remove support (5).    
5 Remove nuts (1).    
6 Lift holder (2) far enough until the nuts (3) and the electrical connector (4) are accessible. NOTES Do not crush or kink or subject lines to tension.
This leads to damage to the lines and impairs their function.
 
7 Remove nuts (3).    
8 Release and disconnect electrical connector (4).    
9 Detach all-wheel drive control unit (N15/17) from holder (2) and remove upwards.    
10 Install in the reverse order.    
11 Perform commissioning of all-wheel drive control unit (N15/17). When replacing the all-wheel drive control unit (N15/17).
