| Remove/install | |||
| 1 | Remove steering wheel. | AR46.10-P-0100MFA | |
| 2 | Remove steering column tube module control unit (N80) from steering column tube (4) until cover (3) can be unclipped. | ||
| 3 | Unclip cover (3) from steering column tube module control unit (N80). | ||
| 4 | Remove steering column tube module control unit (N80) from steering column tube (4) until the electrical connector (1) and retaining clip (2) are accessible. | Do not crush or kink or subject electric lines to tension. This will result in damage to the electric lines and can impair their function. Do not operate red safety catches in steering column tube module control unit (N80). Clock spring contact will otherwise be destroyed. |

| 6 | Remove actuator lock of electrical connector (1). | ||
| 7 | Release electrical connector (1), disconnect, and remove steering column tube module control unit (N80). | ||
| 8 | Install in the reverse order. | ||

| 9 | Carry out commissioning of steering column tube module control unit (N80). | If the steering column tube module control unit (N80) has been replaced. | |
