Remove/Install Fuel Differential Pressure Sensor - AR07.04-P-0025MFG

Engine 139 in model 118, 177, 247

REMOVINGINSTALLING Remove/install     
1 Remove upper engine cover.    
REFER TO MAINTENANCE     AP01.10-P-2405-01K
    INSTALLATION IMPORTANT Only install upper engine cover after the leak test.  
2 Remove air intake pipe upstream of the exhaust gas turbocharger.   AR09.10-P-0003MFG
3 Remove nut (4) of the retaining clip (5).    
4 Remove retaining clip (5).    
5 Remove screw/bolt (1). TORQUE SPECIFICATION Bolt/nut, differential pressure sensor to bracket *BA07.04-P-1002-01R 
6 Remove gasoline particulate filter differential pressure sensor (B163/3) from the bracket.    
7 Open click clamps (3). INSTALLATION IMPORTANT Install new click clamps (3).
INSTALLATION IMPORTANT Position click clamps (3) in original installation position.
 
    SPECIAL TOOL Pliers for click clamps Fig 3
8 Detach pressure hoses (2) from the gasoline particulate filter differential pressure sensor (B163/3). INSTALLATION IMPORTANT Observe markings on the pressure hoses (2).
INSTALLATION IMPORTANT Attach pressure hoses (2) to the gasoline particulate filter differential pressure sensor (B163/3) free of tension.
 
9 Remove gasoline particulate filter differential pressure sensor (B163/3).    
10 Seal openings with suitable stop plug. SPECIAL TOOL Record plug Fig 2
11 Install in the reverse order.    
12 Read out and delete fault memory.    
DIAGNOSTIC SYSTEMS     AD00.00-P-2000-06MFA
WARNING Risk of accident  from vehicle starting off by itself when engine running. Risk of injury  (bruises and burns) resulting from working on the engine while it is being started or when it is running. Secure vehicle to prevent it from starting off by itself. Wear closed and snug-fitting work clothes. Do not touch hot or rotating parts. AS00.00-Z-0005-01A
13 Carry out engine test run and check engine for proper leak tightness and leak tightness.    
14 Install upper engine cover.
