General
The basic tasks of the climate control are:
- To change air temperature (by heating or cooling)
- To change air humidity (by increasing the level of humidity or drying the air)
- To remove air components (filtering)
- To change the local air speed (blower control)
Function
Depending on the equipment installed, the following functions are available:
- The vehicle interior of the parked vehicle can, as required, be preheated or pre-cooled and the air quality improved before starting a journey.
- Using the fragrance system, the vehicle interior air can be enriched with different fragrances.
- Odor-neutral air ionization is used to refresh and clean the air in the vehicle interior.
- Auxiliary heaters in the vehicle interior, such as the steering wheel heater, the armrest heating or the door center panel heating, increase the comfort of the vehicle occupants.
