Remove/Install Front Signal Acquisition And Actuation Module (SAM) Control Unit - AR54.21-P-1254MFA

REMOVINGINSTALLING Remove/install     
1 Commission signal acquisition and actuation module (N10). When replacing signal acquisition and actuation module (N10).  
REFER TO SELF-DIAGNOSTIC SYSTEMS     AD00.00-P-2000-06MFA
2 Switch off ignition and store transmitter key outside of transmitter range (min. 2 m).    
3 Remove right front door sill.   AR68.30-P-4101MFA
4 Fold back the front passenger side floor covering until the holder (4) is accessible.    
5 Remove nuts (2).    
6 Remove holder (4) from stud bolts far enough until electric lines are accessible. NOTES
Do not crush or kink or subject electric lines to tension.
This will result in damage to the electric lines and can impair their function.
 
7 Release and disconnect electrical connectors from signal acquisition and actuation module (N10). IMPORTANT The number of electrical connectors varies according to vehicle equipment.  
8 Release retaining clips of electrical connectors at holder (4). If necessary.  
9 Remove signal acquisition and actuation module (N10) from holder (4).    
10 Install in the reverse order.
