General
During power closing, the doors are automatically and almost noiselessly drawn into the door lock. The doors must solely be in contact with the door lock.
Function
Power closing
The power closing starts once the door is in contact with the door lock (first detent in door lock engaged). The actuator motor that then draws the door into the door lock is actuated. The power closing is ended once the door is fully closed (main detent in door lock engaged).
The closing procedure can be interrupted by pulling a door handle or the inside door handle.
The closing process via the power closing function is still started if the door has been fully manually closed.
Play protection
Every closing process by the power closing function is counted in the respective control unit. Max. 20 closing processes are permitted within 280 s. Every 14 s the current counter status is deducted by one.
Closing resumes after the value decreases to less than 20.
