| 1 | Perform commissioning of sound system amplifier control unit (N40/3). | If sound system amplifier control unit (N40/3) is replaced. | |

| 2 | Switch off ignition and store transmitter key outside of transmitter range (min. 2 m). | ||

| 4 | Remove screw/bolt (1). | A nut (2) is installed instead of the bolt (1). |

| 6 | Unclip electrical wiring harness from holder (3) (arrow). | Fig 2 | |
| 7 | Remove the sound system amplifier control unit (N40/3) with bracket (3) far enough until electrical connectors are accessible. | ||
| 8 | Release and disconnect electrical connectors from sound system amplifier control unit (N40/3). | ||
| 9 | Cover up plug of electrical connector with fiber-optic cable and equipment connection on sound system amplifier control unit (N40/3). | ||
| 10 | Remove sound system amplifier control unit (N40/3) with bracket (3). | ||
| 11 | Remove sound system amplifier control unit (N40/3) from holder (3). | If sound system amplifier control unit (N40/3) is replaced. | |
| 12 | Install in the reverse order. |
