| 1 | Put transmission into neutral position. | Do not park vehicle in off-road program. Otherwise damage will occur. |

| 2 | Switch off ignition and store transmitter key outside of transmission range (min. 2 m). | ||

| 4 | Remove cover under transfer case. | AR61.30-P-1001ME | |
| 5 | Release electrical connector (1) and disconnect. | ||
| 6 | Unscrew screws (2) and remove transfer case control unit (N15/7). | ||

| 7 | Install in the reverse order. | ||
| 8 | Perform commissioning of transfer case control unit (N15/7). | When replacing the transfer case control unit (N15/7). | |
