Remove/Install Differential Fuel Pressure Sensor - AR07.04-P-0025MSC

WARNING Risk of burn injuries  , suffocation and poisoning when working on the exhaust system and the components connected to it. Risk of suffocation and risk of poisoning caused by inhalation of gaseous and solid components of the exhaust. Risk of poisoning  caused by skin contact with solid components of the exhaust. Wear protective clothing and safety glasses. Use the extraction system. Move people out of the hazard area. AS49.00-Z-0001-01A
CAUTION Risk of injury  caused by scraping or cutting body parts on sharp vehicle parts Always wear protective gloves when working on or near sharp and non-deburred vehicle parts.
Deburr repair panels.

REMOVINGINSTALLING Remove/install     
1 Remove upper engine cover. INSTALLATION IMPORTANT Do not install upper engine cover until after the leak test. AR01.10-P-2405MSC
2 Remove crash plate (1).    
3 Remove heat shields (7). TORQUE SPECIFICATION Nut, heat shield to exhaust gas turbocharger *BA09.40-P-1004-02MRT 
4 Release and disconnect electrical connection (3).    
5 Open clamps (5) and remove molded hoses (4) from pressure lines. NOTES
Remove the clamps (5) only from the molded hoses (4) on pressure lines.
Otherwise, the gasoline particulate filter differential pressure sensor (B163/3) will be damaged.
INSTALLATION IMPORTANT Install molded hoses (4) free of tension.
Replace clamps (5).
SPECIAL TOOL Pliers for click clamps

6 Remove gasoline particulate filter differential pressure sensor (B163/3) together with molded hoses (4) and bracket (2).    
7 Unscrew nuts (6) and remove bracket (2). When replacing the gasoline particulate filter differential pressure sensor (B163/3).  
8 Remove molded hoses (4) from gasoline particulate filter differential pressure sensor (B163/3). When replacing the gasoline particulate filter differential pressure sensor (B163/3).
INSTALLATION IMPORTANT Replace clamps.
SPECIAL TOOL Pliers for click clamps

9 Install in the reverse order.    
10 Read out and delete fault memory.    
REFER TO SELF-DIAGNOSTIC SYSTEMS     AD00.00-P-2000-06ME
WARNING Risk of accident  from vehicle starting off by itself when engine running. Risk of injury  (bruises and burns) resulting from working on the engine while it is being started or when it is running. Secure vehicle to prevent it from starting off by itself. Wear closed and snug-fitting work clothes. Do not touch hot or rotating parts. AS00.00-Z-0005-01A
11 Carry out engine test run and check engine for proper operation and leak tightness.    
12 Install upper engine cover.   AR01.10-P-2405MSC
