| 1 | Start control unit replacement with vehicle diagnosis system. | When replacing the ME-SFI [ME] control unit (N3/10). | |

| 2 | Disconnect ground line from on-board electrical system battery. | AR54.10-P-0003ME | |
| 3 | Release and disconnect electrical connectors (1, 2). | ||
| 4 | Release retaining clamps (3) and take out ME-SFI [ME] control unit (N3/10) | ||
| 5 | Install in the reverse order. | ||
| 6 | Connect vehicle diagnosis system, read out fault memory and clear if necessary. | ||
