| 3 | Remove shield plate at transfer case (1). | *BA28.10-P-1008-01I | |
| 4 | Release and disconnect electrical connector (5). | ||
| 5 | Remove screws (6). | *BA28.19-P-1003-01B | |
| 6 | Remove transfer case absolute sensor (B57). | The lugs of the transfer case absolute sensor (B57) must latch into the grooves in the transfer case (1). Damage will otherwise occur. |

| 7 | Install in the reverse order. | ||
| 8 | Read out and delete fault memory. | ||
