| Remove/install | |||
| 1 | Clamp off ground line of on-board electrical system battery (G1). | AR54.10-P-0003ME | |
| 2 | Remove center console. | AR68.20-P-2000ME | |
| 3 | Release and disconnect all electrical connectors (1) at component parts and air ducts (2). | ||
| 4 | Remove nuts (3). | ||
| 5 | Remove screws/bolts (4). | ||
| 6 | Unclip expansion rivets (5). | Fig 2 | |
| 7 | Remove bracket (6) together with air ducts (2). | ||
| 8 | Lift respective floor covering and remove air ducts (7, 10). | ||
| 9 | Cut insulation of transmission tunnel (8) along the marking. | Cut carefully to size. Otherwise the components underneath this can be damaged. |

| 10 | Release and disconnect electrical connectors at Supplemental Restraint System control unit (N2/10). | ||

| 13 | Remove SRS control unit (N2/10). | ||
| 14 | Install in the reverse order | ||
