| 4 | Unscrew screws (2) and remove fully integrated transmission control controller unit (Y3/8). | If the fully integrated transmission control controller unit (Y3/8) is seized, cover sealing surfaces and pry off from transmission housing (1) using a suitable tool. Otherwise, the fully integrated transmission control controller unit (Y3/8) and the sealing surfaces on the transmission housing (1) become damaged. Make sure that the contact pins (6) of the selector lever lock are not damaged. Otherwise, malfunctions will occur with the selector lever lock. |

| 6 | Check plain coupler (7) for correct seating and damage. | If plain coupler (7) is damaged, ↓ replace plain coupler (7). |
