General
The Supplemental Restraint System (SRS) control unit (N2/5) is installed in the vehicle interior on the transmission tunnel below the instrument panel support.
Function
The Supplemental Restraint System (SRS) control unit (N2/5) controls safety-relevant component parts in the vehicle, e.g. the airbags.

Ground connection
The "circuit 31" ground connection is made directly via the threaded connection of the housing of the Supplemental Restraint System (SRS) control unit (N2/5) to the body.
Voltage supply
The "circuit 15" power supply is provided via the signal acquisition and actuation module (SAM) control unit (N10/1).
The "circuit 30t" power supply is provided via the firewall fuse and relay module (K40/11).
