| 1 | Switch off ignition and remove transmitter key | ||
| 2 | Unscrew nuts (1) | ||
| 3 | Undo Velcro fastener (arrow) and remove cover panel (2) | When removing the cover panel (2), make sure that the cover panel (2) does not come into contact with the busbar (3). Otherwise a short circuit will occur which can damage the electrical system. |

| 5 | Remove screw/bolt (5) from positive terminal of backup battery (G1/12) and take off together with electrical line (10) | *BA54.10-Z-1004-01KOF | |
| 6 | Unscrew nut (6) and remove busbar (3) | *BA54.10-Z-1003-01KOF | |
| 7 | Unscrew nut (7) and remove cover panel (8) | ||
| 8 | Push backup battery (G1/12) toward center of vehicle and remove from battery carrier (9) | ||
| 9 | Install in the reverse order |
