	Remove/install
1	Switch off ignition and store transmitter key outside of transmission range (min. 2 m).
2	Remove door trim of respective sliding door.		AR72.16-S-6610E
3	Detach door foil until left sliding door pressure sensor (B165) or right sliding door pressure sensor (B165/1) is accessible.
4	Release and disconnect electrical connection (3).
5	Drill out rivets (4).	Rivet milling cutter	Fig 2
	General information on riveting		AH60.00-P-0003-01N
6	Remove left sliding door pressure sensor (B165) or right sliding door pressure sensor (B165/1).
7	Completely remove rivet residue and chips from sliding door.	Completely remove rivet residues. The rivet residue can otherwise cause corrosion damage to the sliding door.
8	Install in the reverse order.
	Check
9	Check Supplemental Restraint System (SRS) using vehicle diagnosis system.	When replacing the left sliding door pressure sensor (B165) or right sliding door pressure sensor (B165/1).

		Then remove diagnostic system.
