The Electronic Stability Program (ESP) control unit (N30/4) is at the front left in the engine compartment.

Chassis CAN (CAN E) 

The Electronic Stability Program (ESP) control unit (N30/4) is a chassis CAN (CAN E) user. It communicates with the following control units over the chassis CAN (CAN E) and the rest of the CAN network:

Evaluation of signals 

The signals that have been read in are evaluated by the integrated microprocessor and the corresponding component parts are then actuated.
