| 1 | Lift high-voltage battery module and secure with support. | Model 223 with engine 256 with code 597 (Heated windshield) with code ME10 (Hybrid vehicle (plug-in, PHEV)) |

| 3 | Unclip high-voltage power distributor (2) and place to one side. | ||
| 4 | Remove screws (3). a | ||

| 6 | Take out holder (5) together with windshield heater control unit (N61) until electrical connector (6) is accessible. | ||
| 7 | Disconnect electrical connection (6). | ||
| 8 | Take out holder (5) together with windshield heater control unit (N61). | ||
| 9 | Detach windshield heater control unit (N61) from holder (5). | When replacing windshield heater control unit (N61). | |
| 10 | Install in the reverse order. |
