| 4 | Unclip holder (1) and remove with electric lines from spring link (2). | ||
| 5 | Remove suspension strut from spring link (2). | *BA32.25-P-1002-04O | |
| 6 | Remove spring link (2) from steering knuckle (3). | The ball head must be counterheld and an impact wrench/driver must not be used. Otherwise the ball head or steering knuckle (3) may be damaged. |

| 8 | Remove spring link (2) from front axle carrier. | ||

| 9 | Check elastomer bearing in spring link (2) for condition, damage and variant. | If there is a problem with the elastomer bearing: ↓ replace spring link (2). |

| 10 | Check seal bellows and ball head of spring link (2) for damage. | If there is a problem, ↓ replace spring link (2). |

| 11 | Check suspension strut linkage on spring link (2) for damage. | If there is a problem, ↓ replace spring link (2). |

| 12 | Check supporting joint in spring link (2) for damage. | If there is a problem, ↓ replace spring link (2). |

| 13 | Install in the reverse order. | ||
