| 1 | Connect vehicle diagnosis system and read out variant coding from fuel system control unit (N118/3). | When replacing fuel system control unit (N118/3). | |

| 3 | Release and disconnect the electrical connections (4). | ||
| 4 | Remove nuts (5) and remove fuel system control unit (N118/3). | ||
| 5 | Install in the reverse order. | ||
| 6 | Connect vehicle diagnosis system and activate fuel system control unit (N118/3). | When replacing fuel system control unit (N118/3). | |
Activate fuel system control unit (N118/3). Malfunctions will otherwise occur. |
