Operating System (Os) Support Information
This section is informational in nature, as RP 1210D does not specifically require the support of any particular operating system (OS). OS support is generally driven by the end-users and the marketplace.
At the time of this writing, the following Windows™ operating systems are commonly used in maintenance/service operations:
- Windows 7 (32 and 64-bit)
- Windows 8/8.1 (32 and 64-bit)
- Windows 10 (32 and 64-bit)
Manufacturers of software applications and VDAs may - but are not required to - support any specific combination of the above operating systems. Consult your software application and vehicle datalink adapter manual for which operating systems are supported.
