Fuel Injector: Installation

  1. Inspect "O" rings and injector "plastic hat" and washer. Replace if there are any signs of deterioration. Lubricate new "O" rings and install 2 of each injector.
  2. Install injectors, using a light, twisting, pushing motion. Carefully seat the fuel injector manifold assembly on injectors and secure with attaching bolts. Connect vacuum line to fuel pressure regulator. Connect fuel injector wiring harness. Connect fuel supply and return lines.
