Invalid Personal Entry Code Numbers
The following number combinations are invalid when selecting a personal entry code number:
- The five-digit, factory preset permanent entry code number
- Number combinations consisting of the same digit
- Number combinations consisting of consecutive digits. The keyless entry system recognizes 1/2 and 9/0 as consecutive numbers.
The following are examples of number combinations that cannot be entered as personal entry code numbers:
- Any number combination containing digits that are on the same button. An example would be 2-1-2-1-2.
- Any number requiring sequential operation of the buttons. An example would be 1-3-5-7-0 or 7-5-3-1-9.
- Any number combination with less than five digits or more than five digits. An example would be 1-5-9 or 1-5-9-3-7-4.
