Positive Crankcase Ventilation (PCV)

Idle engine until it is warm. Remove fresh air hose at inlet end. Plug nipple immediately to prevent stalling. Verify presence of vacuum at inlet end of hose. If there is no vacuum, replace PCV valve, or service hoses or loose oil dipstick.
