Trouble Shooting: Notes
Before performing any tests, check the following for possible cause of system malfunction:
- Faulty Fuses or Circuit Breaker
- Loose or Corroded Connectors
- Damaged Wiring, Switches or Relays
- Damaged Servo
- Damaged or Binding Actuator
- Damaged or Misadjusted Brake Pedal
- Damaged or Misadjusted Clutch Switch
- Incorrect Actuator Adjustment
- Vacuum Leaks at Control Servo
Verify speedometer, horn and stop lights function properly. Repair as necessary. Inspect servo and throttle linkage for smooth operation. Free up as necessary. If no problems are found, perform road test to verify problem, then go to appropriate test based on symptom.
